- Galvanized Steel Hinges: We use graduated end hinges and center hinges made from galvanized steel, providing exceptional strength and resistance to corrosion—ideal for Ontario’s variable climate.
- Durable Rollers: Equipped with heavy-duty rollers featuring heat-treated outer races and 10 floating ball bearings, our garage doors offer smooth, reliable operation.
Reinforced Strutting for Large Doors
- Strutting: Doors over 11’0″ in width are reinforced with 16-gauge galvanized steel “Z” braces per section, ensuring stability and durability even for wider door sizes. Strutting is required for doors wider than 3,353 mm, making them ideal for commercial and residential use across Southern Ontario.
High-Quality Frames and Insulation
- Frame Thickness: Our doors feature sturdy frames with a thickness of 1.8mm (0.071”) and 3mm (0.118”) at fastener locations for enhanced strength.
- Stiles: Standard top, bottom, and end stiles measure 162mm (6.375”), while intermediate stiles are 76mm (3”), providing solid support and structure.
Insulated Aluminum Panel
- Aluminum Sheets: The insulated aluminum panels are made from 1.27mm thick aluminum sheets, insulated and sealed to the door frame, ensuring energy efficiency and temperature control in your garage.
Durable Finish Options
- Clear Anodized Finish: Our standard finish is a #17 clear anodized Class II finish, compliant with Aluminum Association (AA-M12C22A31) specifications.
- Powder-Coated Finish: We also offer painted products (special order) with a powder-coated finish to AAMA 2603 standards, allowing customization to match your home’s aesthetic.
Glazing Options for Enhanced Visual Appeal
- Tempered Glass, Polycarbonate, or Insulated Aluminum Panels: All glazing materials are sealed to the door frame with butyl tape and secured with rigid PVC snap-in moldings for a sleek, clean appearance.
Reliable Counterbalance System
- Torsion Springs: Our garage doors come equipped with Class II oil-tempered ASTM A229 wire, with a minimum of 10,000-cycle torsion springs on a continuous steel shaft for long-lasting performance.
- Galvanized Lift Cables: We use aircraft-quality galvanized lift cables with a minimum safety factor of 7 to 1, providing enhanced safety and reliability.
Heavy-Duty Tracks
- Galvanized Steel Tracks: Choose between 50mm or 75mm wide galvanized steel tracks for a robust, corrosion-resistant support system.
